to write or not to write....

WRITING. This is one of the words that i am not really friendly with.Everytime i hear this word i cringe, back up, then try to run away... I manage to get some space between the two of us, but somehow my pen and paper always catch up.Damn, i'm such a slowpoke.

I know, you're wondering "why is she still posting if she hates writing?".....Remember: my pen and paper (in this case my keyboard) always .. and i mean always, catch up.

As some of you might know, i'm a mass communication student. Aside from braodcasting, writing should be one of my best skills. But you know what?.... I suck at both of them. I barely even passed last semester.

I keep telling my friends about my problem so they gave me some tips.

1. organize your thoughts
2. Practice
3. look for interesting things (one of my friends told me thati should write bout my family since we have so much fun experiences!0_o)
4. A fellow blogger told me to read other blogs or books and think about my interests or what people might find interesting.
5. practice
6. And try to love it... hehehehe (this is the toughest one to follow.)

ahhhhh!!! well i really want to pass so i thought i'd make a blog. That i did. So now, here i am!!! hehehehe... please be patient with my average posts. Like i said i'm new to this (not only to blogging but also to writing!! hehehe)

I do not have wonderful or interesting posts yet so please bear with me... hehehe... but i assure you, every post is filled with 110 % of my effort!! also i must warn you, i get pretty silly sometimes so expect really silly posts!!! hehehe

My 18th birthday....

It's been one week since my 18th birthday but, until now i still can't get over it. hehehehe...

I didn't want a debut with 18 candles, 18 roses and dances or gowns. It would be too much of a hassle.
Days before my birthday, i was already starting to feel my usual birthday mood. Down, lonely, weird, stupid. I didn't like to answer any questions especially "so, what're we gonna do on your Bday?" questions. I just didn't have any energy. I 'm usually like that on my birthdays....hmmmph....maybe it's just the pressure.

Around 2 days before my birthday, i was already suspecting that my friends were planning something....I figured they were planning to get me a gift cos i saw them talking in hushed voices at our division office..Boy, were they surprised when i suddenly butted in... hehehehe ...I was also sure that my brother and sister were up to something because, they were acting pretty suspicious. My sister suddenly wanted to discuss my favourite foods, my brother asked me what would come to my mind first if i imagined a beach. I didn't let them know that i was on to them.... Honestly, i was enjoying it hehehehe.....

Later, my brother told me that we were gonna got to the beach for my birthday!!! yeeehah!! i was happy coz i have'nt gone to the beach for ages! hehehe... he also said that my cousins were coming. hahaha more fun...0_o.. In the afternoon, my sister arrived with the groceries for our outing. I went to help her (and grab some junk food hehehe)...so i started to put them in the refrigerator. I was startled when she told me that all the junk food was for their medical mission or something. ( huh?.. junk food for a medical mission?!.oh cmon sis..now i know you really are up to something...) what really made me laugh was when i saw two candles 1 and 8 in the groceries hehehe...i was getting excited coz i thought my mom and dad were the surprise!! i have'nt seen them in a while...On the night before my birthday, my cousin came over to help my sister cook for our outing...They didn't want me to help coz they said it was all for me... hehehehe..My gloomy mood was starting to go away.. When i went to take a bath they were suddenly talking about me.. my bro even said.."i wonder what her reaction will be?" ... all i did was smile and say "ha! they really are up to something!"... up to the next day i didn't let them know that i already knew that there was gonna ba a surprise.... hehehe i just love surprises...

But on the day of my birthday, there was no mom or dad.. THey called but they weren't there...so what could the surprise be?.... my eyes almost popped out when i saw my classsmates waiting for me!!.... I didn't know they were part of the plan hahaha....!!! Wow.. i couldn't stop thanking them...i was just so happy ... as in super happy!!! i had so much fun that day that i didn't want it to end....

I didn't have to wear a gown or anything like that. They knew that i didn't like to make a fuss over those things.... but i had 18 K9 roses (they compared me to my favourite dogs heheh silly ain't it?THey had a message for every rose), my friends and a very special memory. They surprised me not only with their gifts, but also by their presence. I didn't know they were planning that kind of surprise!!! WOw..THank you soooo much you guys!!! THanks Bro, thanks Sis!!! you guys are just the best!!!

My first post!!

whoah....! i can't believe i actually made a proper blog. No more nonsense posts, no more silly thoughts..(really?! ha! yah can't fool me!), and lesser rants and raves about my life....

let's see... hmmm.... i really can't think of any interesting experiences today...cept for our workshop for the ASEAN summit..(we're volunteer media liaisons) and the BUBBLEGUM......

We started at around 7 am in the morning. Me and my classmates met at one of our hangouts at school to sign our excuse letters (we had a class for our humanities subject. Art apreciation and etc..). I really wasn't in the mood to talk to them coz.. well.. i swallowed my BUBBLEGUM.

That's right a bubblegum. I'm probably the only 18 year old college student, who still swallows bubblegums. Yes it was an awful (but interesting! i dunno why..) experience, and NO i did not do it on purpose.

I was surfing the net while i was chewing it. I saw something intersting, stood up to call my sister, got ready to shout at her, and then.. I.... swallowed.....my.... GUM! sheesh! talk about disgusting....yeeech..! It was menthol so my throat was "cool" for a while...

once again... YEECH!...

I spent the whole morning trying to get the feeling and taste out of my throat. I ate some biscuits and chocolates then drank some water. It took a veeeeeeeery long time for the feeling to go away.....0_o

So that's my bubblegum story..... hah! looks like i broke my "no silly posts" promise already hehehe.... what can i say .. i'm a silly person!!.....

Well till her!! i have to help out my brother with his project....which means i have to stay up late too and do the encoding. Dang it...
